Initial Client Agreement

Our initial stages are as follows:

Please provide me with your website samples, initial content which includes full images and text. I will review several designs that meet the criteria you have submitted and if it is a project I am willing to take on the basis that I know we can achieve your goal, we will start.

At this point we will sign an agreement to the design and I will produce several "live" samples (drafts) for your review and when we have a design that meets your satisfaction 50% of the total is due. I will complete your website and additional features if purchased and once you approve of the complete website the remaining 50% is due. Once payment is recieved we will trnasfer the design to your server.

There are cases in which a client wishes to add very complicated changes to the initial design agreement. In this case I reserve the right to unilaterally refuse the changes. If I agree to specified changes and additional charges are agreed by the client; I guaranty the satisfaction of the changes to 50% of the additional charges.

The reason for this is simple. A great initial design tends to get "built up" by the client as time goes forward. In some cases the client wants so many additions that the site has changed significantly from the original design they approved. After all of the work and changes made at the client request; now the client is unhappy.

We try to keep it simple and the websites are designed for future upgrades. I suggest "keeping it simple" and over time add to you design. Everyone needs to get the "feel" of their site over time and discover what is needed and what is too much. A simple design does not mean that it is not exciting or a great visual experience.

Finalized Website

Upon completion I will ask that you sign a "completion" statement. I will provide you with a full digital copy of your site for any future editing and this allows you to take it to anyone. Your server information was provided by the provider and at this point you are in complete control of your website. As mentioned on our site and in the agreement, all of the google mapping, site maps, urllist, robots.txt, keywords, and description have been included.

Future Changes

I am happy to help you with any future changes at a minimal cost. I will also help you in learning how to manage your website by yourself so that you can make changes on the fly as you wish. As part of the design I try to incorporate the features so that they are easily changed by anyone, including the client. Much of this is covered during our initial consultation.
